		<description>Regarding Google Music China, most of the Global Entrepreneur article is typical PR fluff. The people who made those comments probably knew nothing about the history of music IR; more relevant, they almost certainly didn&#039;t care! But I sure don&#039;t blame Jeremy for being annoyed by Google&#039;s ridiculous inconsistency.

As for ISMIR, the 10th annual music-IR conference takes place in Japan next month, and the keynote talk is &quot;Ten Years of ISMIR: Reflections on Challenges and Opportunities&quot;, by Stephen Downie, Tim Crawford, and myself. Unlike &quot;The History of ISMIR - A Short Happy Tale&quot;, which Jeremy&#039;s post on this links to, at least mentions Jeremy&#039;s involvement -- though I&#039;m not sure it does him justice!</description>
